Dear KBC Family and Pastor Bill,

November was a very eventful month for the Rock of Salvation Church. First, we had the one year anniversary of our church and the preaching licensing of Elder Ock. Then, in the event of the passing of Pastor Kim's father, we held a memorial service. This week, we are celebrating Thanksgiving with a church-wide supper. First of all, we praise the Lord who provides things necessary in His time. God truly is good and faithful to his people. Secondly, we would like to offer our unending gratitude for your continued prayers and support.

Thank you so much, KBC, for standing with us through our first whole year of doing God's work. Your prayer, love, and support along with the grace of God have helped us reap amazing fruit in our community. Our church has established itself and has grown, praise God! It meant the world to us that so many of you could come out to our anniversary service to bless us and award Elder Ock with his preaching license. Seeing your faces and having the service in two languages was such an encouragement. It solidified our vision and hope for the unity of Christ's body across cultural lines.

Pastor Bill, Di, and Rosalind, it was a great comfort to have you join us at the memorial service of Pastor Kim's father. Even in times of sorrow, we are glad to have a church family like yours. The preaching license came just in time for Elder Ock to deliver the sermon at the memorial service-God's timing is perfect!

Just as you were with us during our mourning, we hope to have you with us in times of celebration. Have a blessed and joyful Thanksgiving with your family and loved ones. Our small Rock of Salvation family is coming together this holiday to worship and have fellowship. We are truly thankful for God's salvation and his blessings as well as for every member of KBC for being with us from the beginning.

If we do not see you before then, we look forward to coming together and celebrating Christmas with you in December. It will be a great time of praise for God's greatest gift and once again a time for our two churches to join together as one.
