Selected verse, Revelation: 13v6: Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding, count the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is six hundred, three scored and six. 6-6-6
As you know the Bible is written in various dimensions:
1. The Word as it is translated. There are some mistakes, but mostly small.
2. Parables as taught by both Jesus, prophets and God.
3. Idioms and symbols, or hidden messages throughout the Bible.
4. The computer code, just recently discovered where the Bible contains prophesies of many significant world events. These include the Holocaust, assassination of world leaders, all major wars, Pearl Harbor and the atomic bombing of Hiroshima.
Biblical numbers also have been found to have hidden meanings. They have physical meaning as well as spiritual meanings. You will also find these spiritual meanings are present in our daily activities, God's Plan.
Today's Article covers the spiritual meanings of some of these numbers. This information is derived from books written by Biblical Scholars and what I have also derived from studying God's Word. You may think I have read too much into the Word. But I say, why did God give these numbers special meanings if we were not supposed to study His Word and realize their meanings?
ONE denotes unity or as one.
The Father, His son and the Holy Trinity are as one.
The 12 tribes of Israel were as one country.
The 50 States of America are as one, or the United States.
A husband and wife are as one.
A husband and wife, plus children are as one family.
TWO denotes difference, division or opposition.
The 12 tribes of Israel were split into two different nations, resulting in constant bickering and even wars.
When a marriage goes sour, the husband and wife split and go into two different directions, often ending in divorce.
We've all heard of split personality, or double tongued or a liar. Double minded or two faced, untrustworthy.
Double hearted or he tries to serve both the devil and God. A part time Christian.
THREE denotes Divine completeness.
The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit equals Divine completeness.
Joseph, Mary and Jesus equals Divine Completeness.
A married couple plus a child equals Divine Completeness.
They have another child. The married couple plus this second child equals Divine Completeness. One is just as important as the other.
A child needs both his Mother and father: God's plan for divine Completeness.
To be without one, the child is terribly handicapped and usually doomed for failure. Over 75% of all juvenile crimes committed in Washington D.C. come from single parent homes.
FOUR denotes creative works or wonders of God.
On the fourth day, God created the stars, the sun and the moon.
God created the four seasons, the four winds and four directions.
In the Book of Revelation, the Holy temple was encompassed by four walls, also the four walls of the Holy of the Holies.
FIVE denotes Divine Grace or un-merited favor from God.
God adds His gifts and blessings to His works and creations, both spiritual and physical.
Five is the primary factor in all measurements of the Temple of God.
SIX denotes mankind, especially distance and time.
Man was created on the sixth day.
All distance is divisible by six, except the metric system.
One foot is 12 inches.
One cubit is 18 inches.
One yard is 36 inches.
One rod is 198 feet.
One mile is 5,280 feet all divisible by six.
The earth is divided into 180 degree latitude and 360 degrees longitude.
Time is also divisible by six.
One minute is 60 seconds.
One hour is 60 minutes.
One day is 24 hours.
One year is 12 months.
One month is approx 30 days or one moon in Hebrew.
One year is 365.25 days which is divisible by six.
Is God telling us that the two most important factors in life for all mankind is distance and time? The distance we travel on the Path of righteousness and the time we spend doing God's work?
In the Book of Revelation, it speaks of Six Seals, Six Vials and Six Trumps; which is the beginning of the end of all mankind of this Earth Age. It also speaks of the devil and the number 666, which certainly represents the devil being kicked out of heaven upon the earth on the 6th Seal, the 6th Trump and the 6th vial. but does it represent something more??? Quite possible!!! It also declares "This is wisdom." What makes the difference if his number is 555 or 999? I definitely believe 666 represents something different and is certainly "Wisdom."
SEVEN denotes spiritual perfection or completion.
Seven is God's stamp of approval for completion, or there's no other way, according to God. That's why 7 it is called the Golden Number or the Perfect Number. Seven is also God's number for life.
Seven regulates every period of incubation and gestation of every insect, bird, animal and mankind. After conception of a woman, life is formed in seven days, and on the eighth day the heart begins to beat. Nine months of pregnancy or 280 days when divided by 7, you get 40 weeks or 7x5x8, all special numbers with special meanings.
EIGHT denotes a new beginning or a new first following seven.
As previously noted, the heart begins to beat of an unborn baby on the eighth day, a new beginning of life.
Jesus arose on the eighth day, a new beginning for all mankind.
Jewish babies are circumcised on the eighth day, a new beginning and a blood covenant with God.
Jesus was circumcised on the eighth day. A new beginning and God's covenant with mankind.
NINE or 3x3 intensified, equals Judgment.
In the Book of Deuteronomy, God used 9 judgments or blessing on the Jewish Nation.
That's why our Supreme Court, originally based on God's Word, has nine judges.
TEN denotes the ordinal number, that adds special significance to any number when multiplied by ten.
ELEVEN denotes disorder or confusion.
When Judas hanged himself, there was disorder among the apostles.
Pre-teens at the age of eleven experience confusion, they're not an adults, nor a child, and easily led into trouble.
They certainly need a strong Christian background to guide them through difficult times.
TWELVE denotes God's plan or perfection.
There were twelve Apostles and twelve tribes of Israel.
In the Book of Revelation, there are 24 elders, or 2x12, God's plan.
As Disciples of God, we are part of God's plan. When you study the Bible, look for the hidden messages. Twelve is often the key for unlocking some of the mysteries and wisdom of the Bible.
Twelve is also the age of accountability according to God's plan. Parents are responsible for providing a righteous home, with a religious background, especially when raising children.
This can only be obtained from the Bible and the Church. And at the age of twelve, a child is responsible for his actions and with the proper parenting, he will withstand the temptations he faces, especially from his peers. He will be raised to serve the All Mighty, God's Plan.
Jesus began doing His Fathers Work at the age of Twelve.
THIRTEEN denotes rebellion.
A teenager usually starts to rebel at the age of thirteen, especially if he has not received the proper parenting.
The 13 colonies rebelled against the tyranny of England.
FOURTEEN denotes retribution. Fourteen is the reward for being divided, or having confliction, or hostilities toward God. Now let's look at these numbers when multiplied with other numbers.
TWENTYFIVE: or 5x5, which is God's Grace intensified.
FORTY: or 5x8.
40 represents a special period of time and through the Grace of God (5) it is followed by a new beginning (8). Some believe 40 represents a period of Tribulations, Temptations, etc., which may be true in a few cases, but it is overwhelming the times it represents is a special period of time followed by a new beginning. Also in these other cases, they can also be considered a special period of time followed by a new beginning.
The number 40 is mentioned approximately 150 times in 26 books of the Bible, with 90% of the 40's in the New Testament being a special period of time. Jesus spent 40 days in the wilderness while being tempted by the devil, with Jesus then beginning His ministry. Jesus spent 40 days on the earth before ascending into heaven, opening the gates of heaven for us. It rained 40 days during the time of Noah as God destroyed the wickedness on this earth, giving Mankind a new beginning. Moses' life is divided into 3 groups of 40 years with each one ending in a new beginning. And the list continues!
10x40=400, multiplies the significance of a great event. It was 400 years since God spoke unto any of the Israelites until Jesus was born.
10x10x40 would be a monumental or colossal event. It was 4000 years since the creation of Adam and Eve, until the birth of Jesus, a monumental event for all mankind.
I believe the number for Jesus is 888, a new beginning emphasized. Practically everything Jesus did was associated with the number 8.
He was born on the 8th day,
Circumcised on the 8th day,
Arose on the 8th day,
Ascended into heaven on the 8th day x 5 or 40.
Tempted by the devil on the 8th day x 5 or 40, and the list goes on.
Here is a good example of a hidden message; Goliath defies the Israel army; I Samuel 17v16, 40 & 49: And the Philistine (Goliath) drew near morning and evening, and presented himself forty days.
40 days!!! God is telling us this is a special event. Then David takes the challenge and begins his ministry, or destiny.
V40: (Verse 40) And (David) chose five (5, the Grace of God) smooth stones out of the brook.
V49: And David put his hand in his bag and took a stone (one stone) and slang it and smote the Philistine in his forehead. What's the message???
Through the grace of God (5), God was united with him (1). I believe David could have closed his eyes and still killed Goliath, because God was with him.
Another example: Mark 5v22-43 and Luke 8v41-55. Jesus had just returned from Gergesenes on the Sea of Galilee. On shore a large crowd gathered around Him. Jarius, an elder at the synagogue approached Jesus, and begged Him to heal his 12 year old daughter who was dying. Jesus started to depart with him, when a woman who had been ill for 12 years with a menstrel disease, touched the hem of His robe. Jesus asked: "Who touched my cloth?" The woman answered and explained her affliction. Jesus said unto her: "Thy faith hath made thee whole." Then Jesus continued to Jairus' home where his daughter had died. Jesus brought her back to life and commanded, "Feed her meat."
What's the message? Two 12's indicate a special message, or God's plan. In this case, it is for ministers and Church officials. Jesus starts to help the Elder and his dying daughter, but stops to heal a woman seeking Him. After Adam and Eve had sinned, God told them they were going to die, but if they seek the Tree of Life (Jesus) and partake of it's (His) fruit, the bread of life, they would surely live. The woman was seeking Jesus and His fruit, and her faith made her whole. As Church officials tend their flock, their first priority is to save any person that seeks salvation, and their second priority is to visit any lost sheep, even though they are spiritually dead. You must try to bring them back into the flock. After salvation, feed them meat, the meat of the Bible. Paul writes: I Corinthians 3v12, "I have fed you with milk, not with meat." Paul had a lot of trouble with the Corinthians and could not get them past the basics of the Gospel. He was NOT able to feed them the meat of the Bible.
Another example: Matthew 14v15-20, Mark 6v36-44. Luke 9v12-17 and John 6v5-13. This message is so important that it is written in all four of the Gospels, and you have to study all four of them to get the complete message. 5,000 followed Jesus after Jesus had received word that John the Baptist had been executed. It's evening time and time for them to eat. The disciples made excuses for leaving the crowd, then Jesus said: "Give them to eat." How could they possibly feed 5,000 with only 5 loaves of barley bread and 2 fishes?
Jesus told them to seat them in groups of 50's and 100's. Then Jesus blessed the bread and gave the loaves to the disciples to feed the crowd. Jesus then blessed the fishes and He fed the crowd himself. After the multitude had been fed there were 12 baskets of leftover bread. What's the message?
5,000 or grace (5) x 10 x 10 x 10, as they seek Jesus and salvation. They sat down in groups of 50's and 100's, they were humble. 5 loaves of barley bread or with the Grace of God, you first feed them the Bread of Life. Two (2) Fishes (meat), fish is symbolic for Christianity, and you feed Christians the meat of the Old and New Testaments. The new Testament had not been written yet, but through Jesus they were living the new Testament. Jesus gave the disciples the Bread to feed the crowd, but Jesus then gave the crowd the fishes. When you feed the Bread of Life to individuals, and with Jesus within them, they will hunger for the Meat. And Jesus will then feed the Christians with hunger for the meat of the Bible, God's Word.
It's evening time or the end of the day, which is symbolic for the end times. Which tells us we are expected to feed the multitude, especially during the end times. I have spoken to numerous ministers who agree that we are either in the end times or very near. The 12 baskets of leftovers tells us that the leftovers are part of God's plan, and if we abide with God's Plan, our reward will be 12 fold. Also, with 12 baskets additional baskets, we now have enough to feed 60,000, God's plan for all mankind.
Another example: Joshua 6v3-5. The Israelites have been in the wilderness for 40 years. After Moses disobeyed God, Joshua was chosen to lead them to the Promised Land, but first they must cross the Jordan River with the Ark of the Covenant leading the way. Then they must pass through Jericho.
Joshua 6v3-5, The Lord said: "Thou shall compass the city and go round the city once for six days. And seven priests shall bear before the Ark, seven trumpets of ram's horns, and the seventh day you shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow the trumpets; and when they make a long blast with the ram's horns; all the people shall shout and the wall of the city shall fall down flat. What's the message?
Joshua in Hebrew is the same as Jesus in the Greek; Savior. Joshua, like Jesus, will lead them to the Promised Land, but first they must cross the Jordan River. Jordan in Hebrew means cleansing or washing away, that's why Jesus, who was without sin, was baptized in the Jordan River. Jesus is telling us that we must be baptized in the Holy Spirit to wash away our sins. Now they must deal with Jericho, which in Hebrew means a solar being or the devil. There are 6 - 7's in this message. The number 6 represents mankind, while 7 is God's way of telling us this is the only way. Also, why did God specifically have 6 - 7's? Is there another message here? Is God referring the Parable of the Fig Tree which identifies the 6 day war in 1967 as the beginning of the end times. Does the 6 - 7's refer to the year 1967? Very Possible! Before we go to the Promised Land the devil must be destroyed, which follows the seventh trump. The seventh trump in the Book of Revelation, is when Jesus returns. And we will all shout with joy, as the walls of sin is destroyed, and we have safe passage to the Promised Land. But Achen disobeyed God and tried to take loot from the ruins of Jericho and he was smote, which tells us that if you try to take sin with you into heaven, you will surely die.
How about modern times? Does God use numbers to give us a spiritual messages? I believe so, especially when concerning the Jewish Nation. In 1948, Israel was again established, as a nation according to the United nations, when England gave the land to the Jewish people, thus fulfilling God's promise.
I find that the first 2 numbers of a year (1 + 9 = 10) are added together to emphasis the importance of the next 2 numbers: 48. 4 is God's creation, and 8 would be a new beginning for the Israelites. And when you add these number together you get 12; God's plan.
Now if you add 40 to 1948 you get 1988, a special period of time with a new beginning. In 1988, the Polish people rebelled against communism, which was the beginning of the downfall of communism.
In 1917 on December 6th, Field Marshall Allenby captured Jerusalem in the first world war. 1917, or 1 + 9 = 10, which emphasizes the next two numbers, 17, or 1 + 7 = 8. 1 shows us that God was united with the Israelites, and 7 tells us that this is the only way. Then when you add 1 + 7 you get 8 which was certainly a new beginning for the Jewish people. This happened on December 6th or 12 - 6 which shows us that this is God's plan for all mankind.
Now if you take 1917 and add 50 which is the Grace of God times 10, you get 1967. And in 1967 you have the 6th day war in which Israel captured Jerusalem, as prophesied by God thousands of years before.
Now let's return to the numbers 666. Revelation 13v18: Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding, count (and/or calculate) the number of the beast; for it is the number of a man, and his number is six hundred, three score and six. (666, or three 6's)
Is there a hidden message here, and if so what's the message? I believe it means far more than the 6th trump, the 6th seal and the 6th vial! And what wisdom is there in knowing these numbers represent the casting of the devil upon the earth in the latter days when we have no idea when? Do these numbers represent a special significance? I believe so! Also note following, "Here is wisdom," the next sentence starts with, "Let him that hath understanding count the number ..." I believe it is telling us that if we understand the Word of God, we will recognize hidden spiritual messages of God's Word.
Is it possible the 3 - 6's refer to the 6 day war, during the 6th day of the 6th month in 1967 according to the Parable of the Fig Tree, which is the beginning of the end-times? I believe so. This is wisdom!
The Book of Joshua also makes a reference to the year of 1967 when prophesizing the end times through symbols. Also note that it says to count the number of the beast, which is 3. Is this a possible key number in calculating the number 666??? Shall we divide, then subtract, then add, and finally multiply 666 with 3. And we get 222 or 2 emphasized, and then we get 3 emphasized, and then 9 emphasized, but when we multiply 666 with three we get 1998, possibly the year 1998.
Now add the emphasized numbers 2, 3 and 9 and we get 2012, but now add the key number of 3 and we get the number 2015 the year Jesus is expected in the Parable of the Fig Tree. More wisdom!
Also, if you add the numbers 2015, you get 8 which is the number for Jesus. Also note that the above verse specifically states that 666 is the number of a man, not mankind. The devil is always referred to in the masculine gender. I believe he is the man referred to; so what is the message? Is it possible that God is letting the devil know that his days are numbered beginning with the 6 day war? I believe so. This is wisdom! Yes, Lucifer your days are numbered.
